Sections 57, 58, and 60 to 65 do not cancel or change powers the Secretary of the Interior already has. Under section 3 of the Act approved August 25, 1916, the Secretary may sell or remove timber in national parks to fight insect or disease outbreaks, protect scenery, and destroy animals or plants harmful to park use, and the powers in sections 51 to 54 also stay in effect.
