Each fiscal year the Secretary of the Interior must tell the Secretary of the Treasury and each State’s fish and game department how much money will be taken for administering this law and how much is being given to each State. A State must tell the Interior within 60 days if it wants its share; if it does not, the Interior may spend that money under the Migratory Bird Conservation Act.
