Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 5B— - WILDLIFE RESTORATION › § 669f
When the Secretary of the Interior finds an approved project finished or wildlife research being done as planned, he must pay the State the funds set aside. He may make interim payments, but total payments cannot exceed the U.S. share. If a State has an approved comprehensive plan under section 669e, he may advance the agreed U.S. share under rules he sets. Construction and labor must follow State law and be run by the State fish and game department, inspected and approved by him. They set when and how much to pay. Treasury pays warrants he draws to the official or bank the State department names and State law allows.
