Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 10C— - FISH RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTATION PROGRAM › § 778
The Secretary of Agriculture must set up one or more research centers to run studies and experiments on fish farming in shallow reservoirs and flooded rice lands. The centers will find which fish species work best, learn how to raise and produce fingerling (young) fish, prevent and control diseases in breeding and young fish, develop cheap ways to grow fish to market size, work with the Secretary of the Interior to study how rotating fish with rice and other crops affects both, and figure out the best ways to harvest and prepare fish for sale, including using sport fishing as a harvest method.
