Carriers or anyone who ships alcoholic drinks (like beer, wine, spirits, or mixtures with them) into a state, territory, district, or possession that bans their sale must not collect the purchase price or act as the buyer’s or seller’s agent to finish the sale. The carrier may only transport and deliver. Violators can be fined, jailed for up to one year, or both.
