Makes it a crime to help a prisoner of war held by the United States or its allies, or someone held as an enemy alien, escape or to help them after escape. Helping can include hiding, moving, sheltering, giving information, or keeping contact, if done knowing who they are. Attempts or conspiracies to do these acts are also crimes. Penalty: a fine under federal law, up to 10 years in prison, or both. This is in addition to other laws.
