Title 18 › Part PART I— - CRIMES › Chapter CHAPTER 44— - FIREARMS › § 933
Do not send, move, give, or otherwise transfer a gun across state lines or to another country if you know, or have good reason to think, that the recipient’s use, carrying, or possession of the gun would be a felony under federal law as defined in section 932(a). Receiving a gun with the same knowledge is also illegal, and trying or planning to do any of these things is illegal too. Breaking this rule can lead to a federal fine, up to 15 years in prison, or both.
