The United States approves and makes valid the taxes and fees that Puerto Rico's Legislature set by Joint Resolution No. 59, approved May 5, 1930, and by Act No. 77, approved May 5, 1931, as changed by Act No. 7, approved April 9, 1934. This approval includes taxes on coffee brought into Puerto Rico from any U.S. state, territory, district, possession, or other place under U.S. control, and it confirms that collecting those taxes is valid as if Congress had already authorized them.
