Title 19 › Chapter CHAPTER 19— - TELECOMMUNICATIONS TRADE › § 3109
The Federal Communications Commission must regularly give the House and Senate committees the public data it collected under Report DC–1105 about Docket No. 86–494. Foreign-made products that need FCC registration or approval may only enter the United States if they follow all FCC rules and the importer gives customs the information that was required on FCC Form 740 on August 23, 1988, in the form and way the Treasury Secretary requires. "Entered" means brought into U.S. customs territory or taken out of a warehouse for use. The FCC, the Secretary of Commerce, and the U.S. Trade Representative must help the Treasury enforce these rules. The Treasury must compile the Form 740 information into a yearly summary, send it to Congress each year until the authority to negotiate trade agreements under chapter 17 ends, and make the information public.
