Title 2 › Chapter CHAPTER 22— - JOHN C. STENNIS CENTER FOR PUBLIC SERVICE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT › § 1104
The Center must promote public service, help young people see public service as a career, train State and local elected officials and employees so they can do their jobs better and move into bigger roles, and train congressional staff who help Members of Congress. To do this, the Center can create programs in five areas: school and college education to encourage civic duty and careers in public service; training for State and local officials and employees; training for congressional staff; media and telecom work to reach more people; and library and research resources. The Board of Trustees sets which programs come first and how much money each gets.
