The Architect of the Capitol may acquire property for the Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper. For Senate operations it needs Rules Committee approval and appropriations plus an obligation plan approved by the Senate Appropriations Committee. With Appropriations approval, the Secretary may transfer funds between the accounts. Applies starting fiscal year 2007 and each year after.
