From July 2, 1954, the Chief Administrative Officer may pay from House funds a gratuity to survivors of deceased House employees. Amount: 1 month’s pay per year (or part) for years 1–6; ½ month per year (or part) for years 7–18; service includes federal civilian work and military service that interrupted it.
