§477 Utilization of services of Library of Congress

Title 2 › Chapter CHAPTER 15— - OFFICE OF TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT › § 477

Last updated Apr 6, 2026|Official source

Summary

Lets the Librarian of Congress provide the Office with help from the Congressional Research Service so the Office can meet the chapter's goals. That help can include any services the Research Service normally gives to Congress. It does not change the Research Service's other duties to Congress, and the Librarian can create extra groups inside the Research Service to do this work. The Office may pay for the help or get it for free, if the Board and the Librarian agree.
