Payments from the contingent fund of the Senate for materials and supplies (including fuel) purchased on and after July 8, 1935, through the Administrator of General Services shall be made by check upon vouchers approved by the Committee on Rules and Administration of the Senate.

Effective Jan. 1, 1947, Procurement Division of Treasury Department changed to Bureau of Federal Supply by former regulation § 5.7 of subpart A of Part 5 of Title 41, Public Contracts, 11 F.R. 13638, issued by Secretary of the Treasury. Bureau of Federal Supply and its functions and duties transferred to Administrator of General Services by act June 30, 1949.

Effective Date

of 1946 AmendmentAct Aug. 2, 1946, ch. 753, title I, § 142, 60 Stat. 834, provided that the amendment made by that act is effective Jan. 2, 1947.
