Title 20 › Chapter CHAPTER 39— - EQUAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND TRANSPORTATION OF STUDENTS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER II— - ASSIGNMENT AND TRANSPORTATION OF STUDENTS › § 1754
No federal court or government official can order students to be moved from one school or school district to another just to create a certain racial mix, and courts cannot be given extra power to enforce the Constitution for that purpose. This rule covers every public school student, school, school system, and school board everywhere in the United States, at all times and in all situations.
