Creates the Asbestos Hazards Abatement Program inside the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Asbestos Hazards Abatement Program — an EPA program to address asbestos dangers. The EPA must collect medical and technical information about asbestos health risks, how to find and test suspected materials, and how to remove or control them. It must share that information with state and local school systems and other groups, including parent and employee organizations. Each year this program is authorized, the EPA must, by November 15, send application forms or tell all local school districts how to get them. The EPA must review requests for financial help and approve or deny them under section 4014.
