Title 20 › Chapter CHAPTER 59— - BARRY GOLDWATER SCHOLARSHIP AND EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION PROGRAM › § 4706
The Foundation will only pay scholarship money when it finds the student is keeping up good progress under the Board’s rules. The Foundation can ask scholarship recipients to send reports when it wants. Those reports usually need a signed note from an approved school official saying the student is making satisfactory progress and is working basically full time, unless (a) says otherwise. The same rules apply to research interns. Interns get payments only while the Foundation finds they are keeping up good progress under the Board’s rules. The Foundation can require reports and may ask for a certificate from an approved school official or the internship employer saying the intern is making satisfactory progress.
