Summary

Local school districts getting funds must report progress on the plan in section 5964(b) to the Secretary by March 1, 1995. The Secretary must report to the House Committee on Education and Labor and the Senate Committee on Labor and Human Resources by October 1, 1995 on grants, applicants' statistics under section 5964(a), recipient activities, and program evaluations.

(a)Each local educational agency that receives funds under this subchapter shall submit to the Secretary a report not later than March 1, 1995, that describes progress achieved in carrying out the plan described in section 5964(b) of this title.
(b)The Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Education and Labor of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Labor and Human Resources of the Senate a report not later than October 1, 1995, which shall contain a detailed statement regarding grant awards, activities of grant recipients, a compilation of statistical information submitted by applicants under section 5964(a) of this title, and an evaluation of programs assisted under this subchapter.
