Summary

The Board can do four main things to support the Museum: get art and other property by buying, accepting gifts, borrowing, or otherwise acquiring it; care for, restore, show, loan, transfer, store, or hold any property it gets; run research and education programs; and, unless the law or a donor’s rules say otherwise, sell, trade, or dispose of property. Money from selling property obtained under section 80k must be used for the Museum. The Board must consider recommendations from the Commission created under section 80n.
