Title 20 › Chapter CHAPTER 3— - SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION, NATIONAL MUSEUMS AND ART GALLERIES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XVI— - WOMEN’S HISTORY MUSEUM › § 80t–1
The Smithsonian must set up a full museum about women’s history. The Board of Regents will pick the museum’s name after talking with the council created under section 80t–2. The museum has three main goals: collect and study women’s work and achievements across fields and time that helped shape the United States; work with other Smithsonian units, outside museums, and schools; and create exhibits and programs that show many different perspectives on women’s history.
