§9404 Authorization and appropriation of funds

Allows the Department of Health and Human Services to receive money to carry out this chapter. The approved amounts are $750,000,000 for fiscal year 2001; $1,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2002; $1,500,000,000 for fiscal year 2003; and whatever amount is needed for fiscal years 2004 and 2005.

There are authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Health and Human Services to carry out this chapter—
(1)$750,000,000 for fiscal year 2001;
(2)$1,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2002;
(3)$1,500,000,000 for fiscal year 2003; and
(4)such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2004 and 2005.
