Every two years the Director must send a report to the President, the Board, the right congressional committees, and make it widely available to the public, including online. The report must say what the National Education Centers did in the prior fiscal years; list each grant, contract, and cooperative agreement over $100,000 with the amount, length, recipient, purpose, and any link to the Institute’s priorities and mission, and put that list in an easy-to-use electronic database; explain how the Centers’ work follows scientifically valid research and supports the Institute’s priorities and mission; and include any other comments, recommendations, or materials the Director thinks are appropriate.
