The Commission must report each award’s dollar amount to the Treasury. The Treasury must pay from the Claims Fund in this order: fully pay awards of $1,000 or less; pay $1,000 toward the main amount of each larger award; then divide leftover money among unpaid principal balances based on each award’s share. After all principal is paid, any allowed interest is paid the same way under Treasury rules.
