It also aims to strengthen economic ties and make cross-border trade easier with those countries, the United States, and other developed nations. To do that, programs can include finishing Export‑Import Bank financing reviews under the Export‑Import Bank Act of 1945 (12 U.S.C. 635 et seq.), letting the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation provide insurance, loans, or other support, and assistance under section 2421 (Trade and Development Agency).
