Within 60 days after getting information that shows officials in a country getting U.S. security aid either took illegal or improper payments from a U.S. company to win a defense contract, or forced or tried to force money or other valuable things in return for allowing a U.S. citizen or company to do business there, the President must send Congress a report. The report must explain what happened and say whether the United States should continue its security assistance program for that country.
