Summary

All decisions, orders, contracts, rules, and actions made under laws repealed by section 642(a) and the Foreign Assistance Act of 1969 must stay in effect until the proper authority changes them. If this chapter requires certain conditions before using its powers or money, meeting similar conditions under the Acts listed in section 642(a), the Foreign Assistance Act of 1969, or laws those Acts repealed counts as meeting the new chapter’s conditions. Money provided under laws repealed by section 642(a)(2) and the Foreign Assistance Act of 1969 must keep being used for their original purposes, unless another law says otherwise, and they follow either the original rules or the current rules that now apply.
