The President may create, change, and use an official Peace Corps seal or emblem. Courts must accept that design as the official mark. Only programs allowed under this chapter may use the seal or the name "Peace Corps." Anyone who uses the seal, a close copy, or the words "Peace Corps" for other purposes can be fined up to $500, jailed up to six months, or both. The Attorney General, U.S. attorneys, or others allowed to act for the United States can ask a court to stop the misuse.
