Title 22 › Chapter CHAPTER 7— - INTERNATIONAL BUREAUS, CONGRESSES, ETC. › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XI— - INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION › § 282k
Treats any securities the Corporation issues or guarantees (including guarantees of principal and interest) as exempt under 15 U.S.C. 77c(a)(2) and 15 U.S.C. 78c(a)(12). The Corporation must give the Securities and Exchange Commission yearly and other reports about those securities when the Commission says they are needed because of the Corporation’s special role and to protect investors. The Securities and Exchange Commission, after talking with the National Advisory Council on International Monetary and Financial Problems, may suspend that exemption for any or all of the Corporation’s securities at any time. The Commission must include useful information about how this rule is working in its annual reports to Congress.
