The United States Governor of the Bank may vote for resolutions from a special February 1983 meeting or other pending Bank proposals that raise the Bank’s authorized capital stock and increase the resources of the Fund for Special Operations. If those resolutions pass, the U.S. may subscribe to 427,396 new shares and contribute $350,000,000 to the Fund. Those actions only take effect if Congress provides the money in advance. The law authorizes the Treasury to pay up to $5,155,862,744 for the subscriptions and $350,000,000 for the Fund, with no fiscal year limit.
