Title 22 › Chapter CHAPTER 7— - INTERNATIONAL BUREAUS, CONGRESSES, ETC. › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XV— - INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND AND BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT › § 286k–1
Treats securities issued by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development — including any guarantees by the bank and any securities the bank guarantees for both principal and interest — as exempt from certain U.S. securities registration rules (15 U.S.C. 77c(a)(2) and 15 U.S.C. 78c(a)(12)). The bank must file with the Securities and Exchange Commission the annual and other reports the Commission thinks are appropriate because of the bank’s special role and to protect the public and investors. Subsection (b) was repealed by Public Law 101–240 on December 19, 1989 (103 Stat. 2518).
