After consulting the National Advisory Council on International Monetary and Financial Problems, the Securities and Exchange Commission may suspend the international bank’s authority to issue or guarantee any or all securities. The Commission must report yearly to Congress on the suspension’s effects and include any views sent by a registered dealers’ association.
