Summary

The President must appoint a Bank Governor, an alternate, and a Director with Senate approval; the Governor and alternate may not receive any pay from the United States for that service.

Title 22, §290l–1

(a)The President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint a Governor of the Bank, an alternate for the Governor, and a Director of the Bank.
(b)Any person who serves as a Governor of the Bank or as an alternate for the Governor may not receive any salary or other compensation from the United States by reason of such service.
