The Treaty means the Treaty on the Non‑Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. Nuclear materials and equipment means source and special nuclear material, production and utilization facilities, and related parts or substances found significant for nuclear explosive purposes under section 109(b) of the 1954 Act. Physical security measures are steps to keep such material used only as allowed and to prevent theft or sabotage.
