Defines key words used for the Taiwan Fellowship Program rules. Agency head means the leader of an executive agency or of the named legislative agencies. Agency of the United States Government includes any executive agency and three legislative offices: the Government Accountability Office, Congressional Budget Office, and Congressional Research Service. Appropriate committees of Congress are Senate Foreign Relations, Senate Appropriations, House Foreign Affairs, and House Appropriations. Detailee means a federal employee loaned to the American Institute in Taiwan without changing jobs, or an employee from GAO, CBO, or CRS. Implementing partner means a U.S. organization meeting section 501(c)(3) of title 26 that helps run the Program and signs a cooperative agreement with the American Institute in Taiwan. Program means the Taiwan Fellowship Program established under section 3384.
