Summary

An employee can appeal a bad decision by an agency under section 3660 to the Panama Canal Board of Appeals. The appeal must be written and filed within the time set by the Commission’s rules, counted from when the agency gave the employee written notice. The Board can allow the employee or a chosen representative to appear in person. After reviewing the evidence, the Board issues a written decision, sends it to the agency and to the employee or representative, and that decision is final. The agency must follow it.
