Summary

Department or USAID employees on leave to serve in the uniformed services (38 U.S.C. 4303(13)) can get an education allowance if they would be eligible without that service.

Foreign Relations and Intercourse — Source: USLM XML via OLRC

A Department or United States Agency for International Development employee who is on leave to perform service in the uniformed services (as defined in section 4303(13) of title 38) may receive an education allowance if the employee would, if not for such service, be eligible to receive the education allowance.
