Title 22 › Chapter CHAPTER 53— - AUTHORITIES RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF FOREIGN MISSIONS › § 4309
The Secretary can treat an international organization the same as a foreign mission for any rule in this chapter when doing so is needed to carry out the chapter’s policies and goals. An "international organization" is a public international body recognized under the International Organizations Immunities Act or created by treaty, and any official mission to that organization that is not a United States mission.
