Summary

Reorganize the Agency for International Development under the rules in this chapter and the reorganization plan sent under section 6601. At minimum, the reorganization must move and merge AID’s press office and certain administrative functions into the Department of State.

Title 22, §6581

Foreign Relations and Intercourse — Source: USLM XML via OLRC

(a)The Agency for International Development shall be reorganized in accordance with this chapter and the reorganization plan transmitted pursuant to section 6601 of this title.
(b)The reorganization of the Agency for International Development shall provide, at a minimum, for the transfer to and consolidation with the Department of State of the following functions of AID:
(1)The Press office.
(2)Certain administrative functions.
