Make sure the ban in section 1307 of title 19 is enforced and followed, especially for goods from the People’s Republic of China that were mined, made, or produced using convict, forced, or indentured labor. The Task Force must work closely with the U.S. Customs Service, get regular updates on investigations and U.S. port monitoring, and suggest new agreements to allow Customs to visit foreign sites. It must help other governments track sales to prevent exports of such goods to the United States, advise Customs on other lawful steps, and share all related information it collects with Customs.
