§6984 Authorization of appropriations

Summary

The law lets the Secretary of Commerce, the Secretary of Labor, and the Secretary of State each receive whatever money is needed to run the programs listed in section 6981(a), (b), and (c) for fiscal year 2001 and each fiscal year thereafter. Except as this chapter says, funds for these purposes may be provided even if other laws would otherwise limit them.

Title 22, §6984

(a)There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Commerce to carry out the program described in section 6981(a) of this title such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001, and each fiscal year thereafter.
(b)There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Labor to carry out the program described in section 6981(b) of this title such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001, and each fiscal year thereafter.
(c)There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of State to carry out the program described in section 6981(c) of this title such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001, and each fiscal year thereafter.
(d)Except as provided in this chapter, funds may be made available to carry out the purposes of this part notwithstanding any other provision of law.
