Title 22 › Chapter CHAPTER 85— - NORTH KOREAN HUMAN RIGHTS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER I— - PROMOTING THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF NORTH KOREANS › § 7815
Congress says the United Nations should play a major role in improving human rights in North Korea. It notes the UN Commission on Human Rights passed resolutions 2003/10 and 2004/13 and asked for a Special Rapporteur on North Korea. Congress also says the serious abuses there need country-specific reports from UN working groups and special rapporteurs on detention, disappearances, extrajudicial killings, the right to food, expression, religion, and violence against women.
