Summary
People allowed to impose sanctions under this subtitle or its amendments cannot use that power to punish importing goods. A "good" means any item or material, natural or made by people, like supplies or manufactured products, and includes inspection or test equipment, but does not include technical data.

(a)The authorities and requirements to impose sanctions authorized under this subtitle 11 See References in Text note below. or any amendment made by this subtitle shall not include the authority or requirement to impose sanctions on the importation of goods.
(b)In this section, the term “good” means any article, natural or manmade substance, material, supply or manufactured product, including inspection and test equipment, and excluding technical data.
