Summary

Pension payments taken from inmates of a naval hospital under laws in effect before July 1, 1943 must be paid into the U.S. Treasury. Those amounts, which had been required to fund the hospital’s support, are treated as miscellaneous receipts.

Pensions of inmates of a naval hospital, required by law prior to July 1, 1943, to be deducted from the account of the pensioner and applied for the benefit of the fund from which such home or 11 So in original.
