Do not count the ownership rights individual Indians have in trust or restricted land as a resource when deciding eligibility for federal aid. Also, up to $2,000 per year of money an individual Indian gets from those land interests must not be counted as income for programs under the Social Security Act or any other federal or federally assisted program.
