The Secretary may create an Office of Indian Men’s Health inside the Service. The Secretary will appoint a director to lead it. The director must work to coordinate and promote the health of Indian men in the United States. Not later than 2 years after March 23, 2010, the Secretary, through the Service, must send Congress a report saying what the director has done so far and any findings about Indian men’s health. The Secretary must set up an Office of Indian Women’s Health in the Service. That office must watch and improve the quality of health care for Indian women, including urban Indian women of all ages, by planning and running Service programs and improving models of care.
