Summary

If Congress provides the money, the Secretary must give grants under this subchapter to tribally controlled colleges and universities to help pay for the post‑secondary education of Indian students. The schools put the grants into their general operating budgets to pay for academic, educational, administrative, and campus operation and maintenance costs as they decide, but the funds cannot be used for religious worship or sectarian instruction.
