§2207 Full faith and credit to tribal actions under tribal ordinances limiting descent and distribution of trust or restricted or controlled lands

Summary

When the Secretary makes rules about who inherits trust lands under section 372 and other laws, the Secretary must recognize and give legal effect to tribal actions taken under subsections (a) and (b) of section 2205. That recognition applies only to estates of people who die on or after the effective date of the tribal ordinances adopted under this chapter.
