Title 25 › Chapter CHAPTER 7— - EDUCATION OF INDIANS › § 275
Since August 24, 1912, teachers at schools run by the Bureau of Indian Affairs may be given extra educational leave in addition to their regular annual leave. They can get up to 30 workdays in a calendar year, or up to 60 workdays in every other year, to attend classes, meetings, conventions, or training when the Government says it is needed. The Secretary of the Interior sets the rules for this leave, and no extra pay or expenses will be paid because of it.
