Title 25 › Chapter CHAPTER 36— - INDIAN EMPLOYMENT, TRAINING AND RELATED SERVICES › § 3412
Federal agency heads must, even if other laws say otherwise, send any money a tribe named in an approved plan should get to the Director of the Bureau of Indian Affairs within 30 days after the funds are allocated to the agency. If the tribe asks, those funds must be delivered to the tribe under an existing contract, compact, or funding agreement made under title I or IV of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. 5301 et seq.).
