Summary

Each fiscal year, recipients must review the progress they made on the Indian housing plans they manage and send a report to the Secretary in a form the Secretary accepts. The report must say how grant money was used, explain how that use matched the planned activities in the housing plan, and list what the program accomplished. The Secretary sets the report deadlines, reviews the reports, and may give recommendations. Before sending the report, recipients must make it available to people in their area so citizens can comment. The report must include a short summary of any comments citizens gave to the grant beneficiary or the recipient about the program.
